Description
The 50 Gulfstar was a very popular well built boat for live aboards and extended cruising. Designed by Lazarra, Gulfstar built 172 of these hulls over a 6 year production run. The 3 stateroom 3 head layout provides all the accommodations and amenities your guests will ever need. A very successful layout for Gulfstar Yachts. The 50 is not exactly a slouch when it comes to speed, though it does like moderate to heavy weather better than the light breeze. It’s not hard to keep the boat moving at 7 knots or better under working sail if the wind is blowing over 12 knots; below that you’ll need to break out spinnakers and mizzen staysails to maintain good speed.

Aft again to port you have the L-shaped galley that runs down the walk-through alley under the center cockpit. The twin stainless steel sinks are close enough to the centerline to drain on either tack. Broker's Comments
Sellers are motivated relocating to California. There is some minor keel damage and the estimate from the yard for the repair is $2500 to $3000. Decks need to be painted but the fiberglass appears to be sound.. Interior is nice, all in all it is a lot of boat for the money.

I gain a great deal of satisfaction working with boaters at Safe Harbor Mystic. Mystic is one of New England's beautiful coastal towns and a boaters paradise. The crew at Brewer Yacht Sales makes every transaction seamless. In addition to being a yacht broker, I am also a member of the Yacht Brokers Association of America and a Certified Professional Yacht Broker (CPYB).
However, when I’m not working on a boat deal, I enjoy offshore saltwater deep-sea fishing on my 42’ Hatteras, “Powernap."
