The Catalina 36 was introduced in 1983. And through changes and upgrades the MKII hit the market in 1994 with her year ending in 2005. Approx 2304 have been built! The Catalina 36 MKII is a very well-known and much-loved model. They have the reputation for solid construction, thoughtful interior amenities, and dependable performance under sail. A very success model ....
She is priced this way for the following reasons
Hatch / ports are crazed - very functional but you can definitely see it
The Bimini is still functional, but the canvas would need to be replaced sooner than later and might replace the stainless tubbing as well (this boat has aluminum tubing not stainless- I have been told they don't make aluminum tubing anymore) - There is a dodger in better condition but not currently installed
The main sail is an older main, it still functions but toward the end of useful life
The Hot water heater was removed (all plumbing is still there and intact) but we did not use it so we removed it
The final item is the refrigerator we used as a cooler with ice (we have not run the fridge in several years) it worked when we purchased the boat but never used it and don't know its mechanical condition.
Don't miss this opportunity! Call today to set up a time to get aboard and see for yourself!
