General comments and Upgrades
Helm/Flybridge:
On the bridge, all of the electronics are Garmin. There are two 12" and a 16" 76XXs series MFD'S that are connected to Garmin Livescope, GARMIN Panoptix, for spare guages. If there's a fish in the water, this boat can find It! All of the cushions were reupholstered In August 2024 and all minor zipper issues on the 5 year old full enclosure were fixed. You can cruise comfortably in any weather conditions with seating for 9 people. There is plenty of storage Forward, under the helm also has storage and life jacket storage under the 7 ft bench to the port. There's a Todd 5 star helm seat with foot rest that swivels.
The dash also has two Depth Raiders and a FISH HAWKE X4D to know trolling speed and te and seperate designated controls for each trolling valve to precisely fine tune trolling speeds. There's also electric Big Jon planner reels with switches at the helm, VHF radio with extended digital antenna, CD/AM/FM radio with bridge speakers and 7 extra rod holders.
Cockpit:
The cockpit had a major facelift in June 2024. All teak was stripped, sanded and varnished with 4 coats of marine UV protected clear enamel to insure longevity. Floors were stripped bare and new primer, nonskid and lmron paint for durability. Cabinets, step, gunwales and deadwell painted with lnterlux Brightside. Walking by this boat is sure to turn heads. The cockpit is designed to be spacious while fishing and can easily accommodate 6 anglers and a deck hand without bumping into each other. It features 26 rod holders (22 gold Big Jon), 5 gold Big Jon Speed Down riggers, an extra large Insulated transom deadwell, Day sink with hot & cold water, Bait Freezer (New 2024), 12" Garmin 8212MFD, high pressure wash down hose, Lumitec under gunwale and overhead lights and 3 Durabrite spreader lights that will turn darkness into daylight.
Salon:
The salon layout was designed with comfort and space as a priority. Stain proof plush carpeting was recently installed throughout. The leather "L" shape couch comfortably seats 4 grown men with storage Below. There's plenty of cabinet and drawer storage plus ample counter space to accommodate fishing or entertaining and is climate controlled by a 24,000 BTU Marine AIR air conditioner with Reverse cycle heat. Interior has been upgraded to RBW LED lighting by Lumitec. All lights, interior and cockpit, are controlled by a newly installed rocker switch panel conveniently located above the electrical panel by the door. The salon also has a custom mounted 55" LED Smart TV with sound bar and subwoofer and seperate Bluetooth/CD/ AM/FM RADIO with speakers inside and cockpit. All interior teak was varnished with High Gloss in 2023.
Galley:
3 Steps Down from the salon is a dinette to the Port with new upholstered cushions and storage under benches. The table can drop down to make a queen size bed for guests. To starboard is the galley that has a full size stainless steel Refrigerator/ Freezer, microwave, coffee pot, sink with new (2024) faucet and spray hose and garbage disposal, plenty of counter space and built in cutting board with an abundance for storage.
Stateroom:
The stateroom has a sliding teak door for privacy, a large tall closet for hangers, 7 different drawers, a cedar closet and queen size bed with a newer custom marine mattress and a built in night stand. The stateroom also has it's own 16,000 BTU Marine AIR air conditioner with reverse cycle heat with digital control keypad. To port is a head to toe mirror, a hatch on the ceiling with a sun cover, anchor locker forward and 4 large cabinets for additional storage.
Exterior:
Below the water line the hull was sanded bare then sealed and painted the spring of 2024 as well as the bottom boot stripe. The hull above waterline, was wet sanded in 3 steps, compounded then waxed in the spring of 2023 to really make it shine. The rest of the exterior above the hull was sanded, fixed blemishes, primed and painted professionally in 2017. The props and custom built over sized rudders were coated with PropSpeed to prevent growth. The transom has 5 underwater Ocean LED lights, a Livescope transducer, PS30 transducer, Fish Hawk transducer, GT54UHD transducer. All exterior windows have been rebedded or caulked and do not leak.

Both engines raw water cooling systems have been descaled with rydlyme, flushed with new impellers.
The boat was re-wired to have 3 battery banks using all Blue Sea Systems products. All batteries are brand new end of 2024. Each engine has an 8D start battery and the house bank is made up of 4 - 6v batteries parallel in a series that can easily be expanded. Each engine can charge all 3 battery banks.

Scott Baker brings a lifetime of sailing experience and a deep passion for the water to his role as a yacht broker with RCR Yachts. After learning to sail on Sodus Bay and spending many joyful seasons racing with his family at the Rochester Yacht Club, Scott has spent decades immersed in the world of boating. He earned a U.S. Coast Guard Master's License, which he used to Captain a 51-foot Beneteau in the BVI's for a youth summer program. He also served as Captain of the Colonial Belle, and did many yacht deliveries including both power and sail.
A certified US Sailing Instructor at multiple levels, Scott has run a sailing school, worked in a marina and sold sails for a local loft. He has logged countless miles cruising and scuba diving in the 1000 Islands, Mallorca, as well as the British Virgin Islands. Scott has actively raced on hundreds of different sailboats through the years and currently is a winning tactician on a J24 and J35 out of RYC.
He and his partner, Trish, own a beautifully crafted Starflight 38 designed by Jim Taylor, which they enjoy sailing with their two young adult sons and two teenage daughters. Scott joins RCR following a career in television and working in his family’s fishing business, and he looks forward to helping clients find the right boat to match their dreams and lifestyle.
