Description
Like all Bruckmann yachts, TRUANT, a 2007 example, is a beautiful, classic Downeast yacht that has all the features necessary for short cruises, day trips, afternoon, or evening cruises, or even a fishing trip. The open cockpit is wide and spacious. The main cabin is comfortably set up for the helmsman and company. Down below is a nice breakfast nook and galley, head, storage lockers, and a reasonably large v-berth. The engine was recently overhauled, and the fuel tanks were inspected. All the woodwork is in beautiful condition and has been well-maintained.
About Bruckmann Blue Star 29.9's
The 29' Bruckmann Blue Star 29.9 is a classic HIGH-QUALITY Deep Vee hull design that also has a list of desirable features that enable it to go offshore or spend the night below in a comfortable cabin with a full galley, enclosed head, a "coffee nook" for breakfast.
It's big enough to accommodate 6 people for cocktails, 4 people for dinner, and 2 people for the night. (Accommodations for grandchildren can of course be made in the main cabin or in the cockpit in good weather) Although the Blue Star 29.9 has been discontinued, Bruckmann Yachts are still being made and the People at Bruckmann have always answered the phone and been available to help with issues about the boat.
The "Down East Design" is quickly recognized and "Fancy-Free" has the Classic Blue Hull, Green bottom, white cabin sides, and top with just enough varnished teak to accent and show off the classic look. The desirable "Hard Top" allows for much easier access to the bow, easier maintenance, interior lighting, quieter and drier riding, and can accommodate more equipment inside or on top.
The owner has taken great care of her and made numerous updates over the years.
