Description
Private Eyes is a beautiful one-owner yacht ready for her next adventure. She has been on Lake Erie since leaving the factory and has been lovingly enjoyed an maintained meticulously, as evidenced by her thorough logs. The 355 Aft Cabin, later called the 355 Motor Yacht, offers an incredible amount of enjoyment space in a manageable size. Stepping aboard the aft swim deck, it is a few steps up to an aft outdoor salon. Here is a place to watch sunsets, sip your morning coffee, or just relax and enjoy the water. Her canvas and isinglass are in very good condition, and have many years of service ahead. From the aft salon, it is a short few steps up to the flybridge, where the helm station is clean and modernized. Newer Raymarine plotter/radar, VHF, and autopilot are at your fingertips, and the dual engine controls and instrumentation are spaced properly and ergonomically for precise helm management. Forward of the helm station is a long seating area with expansive views forward, attractive forward-tilted windows, and plenty of storage.
Stepping below, you'll be impressed with the amount of comfort and space this 35-footer offers. A central seating area separates the aft cabin from the galley, and is surrounded with warm woodwork and provides easy access to the electrical panel. Stepping aft you find yourself in the full-beam private aft cabin, surrounded in rich woodwork from floor to ceiling. Tasteful accent lighting, a queen-size berth, and a separate head and full stand-up shower make this an impressive space.
Moving forward through the central cabin, the galley features a solid-surface countertop, ample storage, and generously sized refrigerator and freezer. Additionally, a dining table with leatherette-trimmed seating converts to an additional berth. To starboard is a second head, and a forward cabin is just another step ahead. This cabin can be configured as a queen-sized berth with a filler, or with perpendicular bunk beds that are perfect for the kids!
Private Eyes is powered by twin Crusader XL 454 engines with just over 1100 hours on each, and all maintenance is up-to-date and documented.

Patrick Kelly grew up on the west side of Cleveland, Ohio. After taking a local Learn to Sail class as a young teenager, he was hooked and has been on the water ever since. While attending The Ohio State University, he was a member of the sailing team, competing around the midwest. Boating has been a way of life for Patrick; he participates on several racing crews, and holds a USCG Master License. In addition, he is an FAA licensed commercial pilot.
When not racing, Patrick enjoys cruising around the great lakes with his partner Jennifer and their children. He volunteers his spare time to promote junior sailing programs, and enjoys watching his son sail on the Edgewater Yacht Club Junior Race Team.
Not only is Patrick a member of the RCR Team, he is also a customer, having purchased his boat through RCR a few years ago. "The expertise RCR provided when I made my boat purchase was impressive, and I hope to provide the same level of excellence to my customers."
