At just 15 years old, Parker started working for a sailboat dealership in Mamaroneck, New York, where he learned the trade from “underneath the keel”. Later, after completing his college education, he joined the Navy and served as a Navigator on several ships, including an Aircraft Carrier, a Fleet Tug, and a Fast Frigate, mostly in the South Pacific. At the same time as leaving the Navy, Parker joined the Merchant Marines. In the late 70s, Parker moved to Miami and accepted a position with a Hatteras dealership on the Miami River. He still lives in Miami today with his wife, Kiki.
Parker has a strong understanding of Internet marketing but prefers a more hands-on approach to promoting his listings. Over the years, he has built a vast network of industry contacts and through his efforts, Parker has established connections that have proven to be instrumental in this business. He is fluent in Spanish, which has helped him in negotiating transactions from Europe to South America.
