Full Details
Exterior
This is the traditional Aft Cabin layout with the addition of the cockpit. The boat can be easily boarded from almost any dock arrangement: From the swim platform, via the gunnel surrounding the cockpit, or on the side decks.
The cockpit features deep bulkheaded sides, a huge storage locker below decks, and a sliding door that accesses the master stateroom. The shore power hook-ups are on the port rear corner and easily managed from within the cockpit.
It's just a few steps up to the aft deck. The deck is covered by a hardtop, surrounded by a smoked plex skirt, enclosed by eisenglass panels, and features solid plex wing doors to the gunnels. There's an entertainment center component to port with ice maker and wet bar, and a storage cabinet.
Just a few steps further up the starboard side you access the bridge. The helm is to port and back with forward-facing seating ahead of it. There is a dedicated captain's helm chair and a bench to port that accommodates two.
From the aft deck, the bow is accessed through port or starboard fixed doors. The gunnels are wide and secure, a Carver trademark. There are hip-high rails running fore-to aft, with a coated support cable below. There is a molded bow pulpit with anchor nestled in a stainless chute, operated by an electric windlass.
Interior
The salon is accessed via a staircase from the aft deck. The cabinetry is a rich cherrywood. Seating includes a sofa to port, a barrel chair opposite, and a four-seat facing dinette. The carpeting, counters and wall-covering are new in 2019.
The facing dinette is one step down from the salon and opposed to the galley. There's a large storage compartment below. The dinette converts to a double berth. Forward of the galley area is the enclosed day/guest head. Forward of that is the guest stateroom with roomy double V-berth.
Heading aft from the salon is the master stateroom. It features a large double-berth, plenty of cabinets and hanging lockers, and an en-suite head with separate stall shower. Most strikingly, the rear bulkhead houses the sliding glass door that provides direct access to the cockpit.
Electronics
Electronics include:
- Furuno Radar
- Garmin 240 Fish Finder
- NavMan Tracker 5600 GPS/Plotter
- Horizon Spectrum VHF
- Guest Remote Spotlight
Electrical
The boat is served by dual 30 amp shore power service. Two 30a cords plug into outlets conveniently located on the transom, within the shelter of the cockpit. There is a battery charger monitoring house and engine batteries. Ship's 110 V power is provided by a Kohler 6.5 kw generator with barely 300 hours.
