WALKTHROUGH - SEA RAY 330 AMBERJACK – SWEET KATRINKA
COCKPIT:
With a 13 foot beam the cockpit is spacious and has plenty of room for a couple of deck chairs and the moveable table in addition to two settees. When the aft settee is stowed away the cockpit becomes a great fishing platform, with live and wet wells below deck and a versatile work station/bar above.
On the port side you will find water, shore power and telephone/cable receptacles, and a fresh water washdown spigot. A salt water washdown spigot is found on the opposite side. Additional hose fittings are found forward for flushing the engine exhaust systems. A deck shower is conveniently found next to the transom door which leads to the swim platform, and four rod holders are mounted in the port and starboard coaming. The cockpit is protected from the weather by a canvas awning extending over the forward sette and work station/bar. There is also a full cockpit cover for when the boat is not in use (not pictured).
HELM:
Forward of the cockpit, the helm is enclosed on three sides by a Bimini top, windshield, eisenglass curtains and a radar arch that features overhead lighting and stereo speakers. Raised, bolstered, forward facing seats, with foot rests are found port and starboard with the helm station on the starboard side. Cupholders and two additional stereo speakers are found on either side.
SALON
Entering the salon four steps down from the helm the salon features a settee, which converts to a double berth on the starboard side, with the head and galley to port. The salon is carpeted, with a protective cover. The galley features a countertop sink, dual burner ceramic stove, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Storage is provided by lockers behind and above the countertop and an additional locker and drawers below. Additional storage lockers are provided underneath and above the settee. The electrical panels are found in a locker on the aft bulkhead and under the companionway stairs. The forward bulkhead features pocket doors that close off the forward cabin. A flatscreen TV is mounted above the sink opposite the settee. There is an opening portlight on the starboard side with valanced curtains. In the evening light is provided by overhead lights and two reading lamps.
FORWARD CABIN:
The private forward cabin is open to the salon but can be closed off with pocket doors. The cabin is carpeted, with a protective cover and features pedestal table that can be removed to allow conversion to a berth. The table is surrounded 270 degrees by seating for seven. When configured as a berth, this area will sleep two. Shelving surrounds the cabin and is complimented by two lockers with mirrored doors, with additional lockers under the settees. Stereo speakers are found on the forward bulkhead along with two reading lamps. There are four fixed portlights with curtains and an overhead hatch with retractable screen and sunshade.
HEAD:
Located at the aft port side of the salon, the wet head features a vacuflush marine toilet beneath a hinged shower seat and a countertop mounted sink with a hot and cold running water. The spigot doubles as a shower wand. A half-length mirror is mounted on the aft bulkhead. A mirror faced storage locker is found above the sink, with an additional locker below. A towel hook and shower curtain complete the head. Ventilation is provided by an opening portlight and air-conditioning.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT:
The engine compartment is under the helm and cockpit. Access is gained by a hydraulic lift that raises the bridge deck.

A native of Miami, Florida Jason grew up around boats and boating. He started sailing at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club at the age of 8 and got his first boat, a sunfish, at 11. He worked for his father, a professional yacht captain, 7 summers running from the age of 14; working out of Jones Boat Yard and Richard Bertram Yacht Yard, maintaining Trumpy, Burger and Feadship motor yachts. A graduate of Florida State University and study programs in London, England and Urbino, Italy, Jason moved to Washington DC to attend graduate school at George Washington University; followed by a career in international distribution with a focus on consultative sales, marketing and contract negotiation. A long-time resident of the Annapolis, Maryland, Jason is a member of the Chesapeake Yacht Club and an Eastport Yacht Club alumnus. Jason cruised the Chesapeake for 10 years aboard his Columbia 10.7, before becoming an avid racer; participating in the Pirates Cove Race Club's Wednesday night series on the West River, as well as various CBYRA Bay races for the last 23 seasons. After teaching his son’s to sail aboard their Hunter 27, Jason and his family can now be found cruising the Chesapeake aboard their Beneteau 381.
