Born and raised in Miami, Matias could swim before he could walk. He has always felt his heart and mind belonged to the ocean. His earliest memories involve being launched off the side of the family sailboat by his adventurous father.
At just eight years old, Matias began sailing competitively. Participating in dozens of regattas sharpened his ability to carve his path using nothing but the wind.
Matias’ maritime career bloomed from a humble beginning; doing bottom paint and installing propellers underwater on the party catamaran he was working on as second officer at the age of 15. Years of hard work saw his career steadily progress. He began captaining, running charters, and tending to VIP guests in Miami’s chaotic yachting industry. With burning ambition, Matias continued to advance in the industry by establishing his own company, brokering out yacht charters and facilitating yacht management.
By working his way up from the bottom of the yachting world, Matias has a deep understanding of the industry. There isn't a factor he won’t consider when setting his clients up with an ideal yacht and guaranteeing the life changing pleasure of yacht ownership.
