David grew up in the small South Texas coastal town of Tivoli, spending all of his free time on the water fishing. He has been involved with building a variety of different semi and fully custom bay boats.
He got into sport fishing 20 years ago when he went to work for a family with deep roots in the sportfishing world. He has fished billfish tournaments from Bermuda to Kona, Hawaii, on a variety of different yachts.
In his 20 years of billfishing he has learned from some of the best pioneer fishermen in the industry. Whether inshore or offshore, he plans to use his knowledge to better inform and serve his customers. He is happy to join the Galati team and bring the best product to our customers.
