Grant joined Burgess in 2021. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, he grew up sailing competitively and waterskiing on the lakes of Madison. Grant graduated from Lawrence University with a Bachelor degree in History and played on the LU hockey team for four years. After obtaining his broker’s licence in 2004, Grant spent nine years working with Sanlorenzo Americas and YachtBlue. Then he was hired in early 2018 as Sales Director for the Americas for Baglietto and Cerri Cantieri Navali (CCN) Yachts, delivering two or three highly customised 40-70m projects per year.
Grant serves as Vice President in his third term with the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA). He also serves as Chairman of the Marine Advisory Board for the City of Fort Lauderdale and is a 10-year member of the Downtown Fort Lauderdale Rotary Club.
Married with two children, Grant enjoys golf, tennis, sailing, still plays hockey and has been a long time season ticket holder to the Florida Panthers.
