48' Californian Vessel Walkthrough
From the fiberglass swim platform, you step into the cockpit via the transom gate and then step up onto the hardtop covered sundeck. Once inside the sundeck, you can walk out either side deck via teak & glass wing doors to the foredeck, step up onto the flybridge or step down into the salon. Once inside the salon, you will find L-shaped seating/berth with a coffee table to starboard, counter starboard forward, 2 lounge chairs to port and the full beam master stateroom entrance aft. Walk forward and step down to find the dinette to starboard, galley to port and guest stateroom with ensuite head and enclosed shower forward. Engine room access is via hinged steps between the salon and dinette-galley area.
Headroom in the salon is 6'5", 6'4" on the sundeck, 6'8" on the flybridge, 6'3" in the guest stateroom, 6' in the guest stateroom shower, 6'3" in the master stateroom and shower. The master stateroom berth is 6'6" long and the guest stateroom berth is 6'4" long.

Big Idea III offers a full beam master stateroom aft with a centerline queen size berth and an ensuite head with an enclosed shower; and a guest stateroom forward with an island queen size berth and an ensuite head with enclosed shower. The salon seating converts to a double size berth as well.
