He grew up as an avid water sports enthusiast on Lake Oswego, the Columbia River and the pristine Oregon Coast. At 15, Joe started working at Christensen Yachts as a general laborer in various construction crafts. In 1990, Joe moved into yacht construction planning and purchasing.
