Sea Goddess is a working passenger vessel with a USCG COI approved for 93 passengers and 3 crew, total 96. Ample seating is found both inside the main cabin, and along the outside of the cabin both port and starboard. In the main cabin there is a beverage counter and flat screen TV. Aft, both port and starboard, are two electric heads fed by raw water from a 12-volt pump.
Her overall condition is impressive. She’s a working whale watching vessel in Monterey Bay, California, and ready for a new business venture. Her Certificate of Inspection is valid until August 24, 2027. She has an operating range of 100 miles from mainland shore. Her stability letter was issued August 2012.
She’s 60 feet 6 inches with a 21 foot 6 inch beam. Her engines were replaced in 2017 with two 2016 John Deere RG6135AFM85. She cruises at 12 knots. Sea was last hauled out for bottom inspections and refastening of all butt-blocks in the fall of 2022.
Sea Goddess has one large main cabin on weather deck with access doors port and starboard and aft with enclosed pilot house on bridge deck. Caravel planked hull has frames on 14-inch centers; frames are 7 inches by 2 inches; garboard planks of 1-and-a-half-inch mahogany are fitted to keel.
Hydraulic steering with a wheel in the pilot house, captain and crew will find Sea Goddess well equipped with ComNav auto pilot, Garmin GPS and Furuno 72 mile radar. Four cameras positioned at the captain’s station display the engine compartment, main cabin, weather deck and bridge deck.
She has two 500 gallon fuel tanks, one 300 gallon fresh water tank, and 100 gallon holding tank. Two Onan generators (8-kw and 13.5-kw) provide excellent power capacity offshore. The two engine batteries are 8D;. She has 3 8D ship batteries. Two ProMariner batteries chargers keep the system powered up.
