Northrop & Johnson Yacht Broker Richard Higgins has more than 12 years of experience in the yachting business and a wealth of contacts, having lived and worked across three continents.
After learning to sail at a young age, Richard found his passion for the sea. He started his yachting career as crew working on an 85’ sailing yacht in Australia. Richard went to school in the UK and after graduating, he worked in the defense industry in London. In 2010, Richard was in search of a new challenge. He decided to follow his true passion for the sea and was drawn to the yachting industry. Richard moved with his wife to the South of France where he began building a successful and respected career in yacht brokerage.
Richard is dedicated to providing his clients with an exemplary level of service through his extensive experience, technical acumen and dedication. He is uniquely positioned to advise and conclude any type of new build or second-hand transaction.
