Manufacturers Description
From the Manufacturer:
The Pursuit 3070 Offshore combines Express-style features with outboard power, creating a handsome, rugged performance package just as comfortable in open seas as it is cruising inland waters. The upper deck is centered by a custom welded, brushed aluminum windshield, stylishly designed, fully functional from the bridge, and complete with ventilating side windows. A wide, flush deck walkaround area enables easy access from the spacious cockpit to the forward bow. The ladder back helm seat is electronically controlled and conveniently located starboard, allowing a central entry to the cabin. A portside L-lounge is designed for relaxing and taking full advantage of the entertainment center, with optional icemaker, aft of the helm. An electronic lift of the bridgedeck reveals access to a lighted rod and gear storage area. The top deck is finished with cockpit coaming bolsters, a retractable rear lounge seat, a generous cooler aft, an insulated livewell, and a floor-mounted fishbox with a macerated overboard drain, and a practical transom door. The cabin features a teak dinette-style table and seating configuration with a cozy V-berth forward and a smaller diagonal berth amidship with storage beneath. The galley is complete with Corian counters, a microwave, an AC/DC refrigerator, and a stainless sink. A full, stand-up shower, vanity mirror and storage, plus a fully framed door are features of the VacuFlush head compartment. Teak and maple flooring throughout and decorator fabrics finish the 3070 interior with elegance and functionality.
From Powerboat Guide:
The Pursuit 3070 Offshore Express was one of a growing number of 30-foot-plus express boats introduced in the early 2000s with outboard power. Built on a deep-V hull with moderate beam and a solid fiberglass bottom, the 3070 Express is a handsome boat with a versatile layout and a full array of fishing amenities. No one does cockpits better than Pursuit?everything is within easy reach, and fit and finish is as good as it gets in a production boat. Standard features include an integrated swim platform, bow pulpit, 40-gallon transom livewell, removable in-deck fish box, foldaway transom seat, bait prep center with sink, tackle storage, windlass, aft-facing jump seat, cockpit bolsters, rod holders (6), transom door, recessed trim tabs, raw-water washdown, full-height bow rail, and dive ladder. The aft bridge deck lifts to reveal cavernous storage compartment below. The 3070?s comfortable midcabin interior with teak-and-holly sole sleeps four and includes a galley with fridge, standup head/shower, convertible dinette, and offset double berth forward. Twin 250hp Yamaha outboards deliver a top speed of about 40 knots.

David likes to joke that he was born on the water and was sailing before he could walk. There may be some proof to that as his father and business partner Lee has circulated photos around the office of David single handing the families “sailing dinghy” at a very young age.
As a youngster, he became a successful sailor at the Thames Yacht Club (TYC) in New London, Ct. As a member of the TYC’s competitive sailing team racing Lasers, Blue Jays & 420’s. Through the years, he’s competed in countless one-design regattas, Block Island Race week, Off Soundings and even competed in 420 Nationals, where some of the most feverish competition was always expected.
During the “summer season” David could always be found somewhere on the water running boats all over New England, fishing, sailing, diving. At the young age of 15, David and his father Lee sailed the families J30 from New England to the West Coast of Florida where they set roots.
After spending the better part of two decades in various Executive Management & Sales positions in the mortgage lending/servicing and Default Asset Management space. Most recently serving as VP of Operations/Vendor Management for a National Default Asset Management Company and previously serving as the C.O.O. of a national asset disposition firm managing R.E.O. Properties for the nation’s largest financial institutions. David decided it was time to return to his passion of the marine industry.
With nearly 10 years of brokerage experience with some of Florida’s premier Yacht Sales Organizations, where he created the marketing and on-site display at Marina Jack, serving as the Edgewater Boats Product Line Manager. David also assisted with the Vicem & Marquis lines. David & Lee decided it was time to build their own brand and formed Professional Yacht Sales International in September of 2018.
David’s vast knowledge of both power and sailboaters’ needs gives our clients a comfort level that their best interests and Professional Representation are his primary concern. Regardless of which side of the transaction (buyer/seller/both) he is on, David brings his lifetime of experiences to every client relationship always putting the client’s needs first.
When he is not working (which is rarely) he is an avid boater, scuba diver & fisherman competing in local fishing tournaments.
