“I absolutely love selling yachts, but more than that, I enjoy the people I get to meet in the process. There is nothing more rewarding than working with my customers and helping achieve their boating dreams.”
By the age of 11, Jim had lived in seven different states as an “army brat.” After attending high school in Memphis, TN., then entering his college and graduate school years, he chose to settle in Florida. For over 20 years, he led a non-profit called Young Life, an organization that works with teenagers and young adults calling them to lead a lifestyle of quality and high adventure. Jim’s high energy and enthusiasm for yacht sales stem from his passion for this organization. His boating background began as a young child on Lake Lanier in Georgia and expanded further when cruising to the Bahamas after college. He earned his USCG Captain’s License and has spent five years as a part-time backwater fishing guide. Jim brings a personal touch to working with his customers and takes pride in walking along-side his buyers and sellers, helping them every step of the way. He sincerely desires the boat buying and selling process to be an enjoyable one.
Jim and his wife Natalie, a Florida native, live in Bradenton with their two Boxers. Natalie is an on-air personality for Home Shopping Network and runs a boutique modeling agency. Outside of work, Jim volunteers as the chaplain for the Manatee High School football team, as both he and Natalie are avid football fans. In addition, they enjoy boating, fishing, and hiking. Each summer they leave Florida and head west for the chance to climb a 14,000-foot peak.
