Description
In tight marinas, this Swift Trawler is extremely maneuverable with excellent visibility from her two control stations and both bow and stern thrusters. The ST 42 can accommodate four adults in two staterooms, each with their own full heads. An additional guest can sleep on the large convertible salon settee. Perhaps most appealing is the large teak after-deck where swim parties can be assembled, sunsets observed and shelter found on rainy days. In the bow one can find a large padded space for exercise or simple lounging in the sun. True North has extensive storage space throughout it’s hull to provide for supplies on long voyages. It’s engines are unusually accessible for servicing by raising the full salon floor and It’s full galley is adjacent to the lower helm for social interaction during food preparation. Aft of the fly bridge is a lifting yard which easily allows for storage of her 2023, light weight Highland dinghy and 8hp outboard. Overall, True North is a dark blue beauty which will turn heads in any harbor. She has been well cared for and is exceptionally clean. The sellers enjoyed this past winter in the Bahamas, but illness now forces its sale.
Vessel walk through

From the aft deck you ascend the stainless steel and teak ladder to the flybridge. To the port side is the dinghy stowed in chocks with the dinghy engine on the aft rail to starboard. Forward is the hoisting mast that can be lowered for bridge clearance. The forward end of the flybridge is the helm station with full engine controls. To port is an L shaped settee with a teak dining table for outside dining with a view. The flybridge can be enjoyed in all weather with its full enclosure.
Back down in the cockpit you enter the main salon through double sliding doors that give the space a full open feel. The interior is richly finished teak for a warm cozy feeling. To the port side is a teak credenza with plenty of storage and a mounted TV. On the starboard side is a plush settee with teak table for inside dinging and lounging.
The engine room is accessed through the floor of the main salon and down a short ladder. The mechanical space is well lit with easy access to both engines, pumps and gear. The salon floor can be lifted to provide standing room in the engine space. There is a walk way between the engines for full accessibility to check fluids and change filters.
Forward of the salon on the port side is the galley with three burner stove and oven, microwave, ice maker, double stainless sink and plenty of storage.
On the starboard side is the inside helm station with full controls of systems, 12" chart plotter and VHF radio.

Forward is the master suite with island bed and ensuite head. There is plenty of storage, ventilation, light for a comfortable at home feel.
True North is a beautiful deep blue hull example of the very popular Swift Trawler 42. She is an extremely clean and well maintained ST 42 ready for her new adventure. The sellers just spent a season in the Bahamas and are ready to pass her on to new owners for new adventures.
