Description
Gorgeous!
1987 DeFever 44 Trawler/Cruiser
Ready to embark on even more adventures as her Designer Intended and the previous owners all achieved lovingly.
They have found her to be the ideal vessel for their purpose of extended cruising as she is equally at home offshore or in inland waterways.
Sea Fox has spacious accommodations for a 44ft Trawler with a walkaround double berth and extensive stowage in the owners stateroom aft and two berths in the guest cabin forward. The deckhouse contains the lower steering position and the salon area with dining and seating facilities and the galley. The galley utilizes a double sink , 3 burner cooker with oven and ample stowage. There are 2 fridges and a freezer.
Outside there is a large after deck with a ladder access point down to the swimming platform and steps up to the fly bridge above the deckhouse. The flybridge has a helm position with full engine controls, autopilot, VHF Radio, echo sounder, chart plotter all of which are duplicates of the lower steering position. There is plenty of seating and access to the boat deck above the aft deck. A RIB and 8HP Outboard are stowed on the boat deck using a davit and electric winch system.
The expansive engine room is an amazing feature of this lovely vessel and is accessed from the forward cabin. It has standing headroom between the two 135HP Lehman marine engines and there is also a 12.5kW generator serving 115V and 12V outlets throughout the vessel.
