Chuck has a long history of boating experience on fresh and salt water. He is a Michigan native who grew up boating on the Great Lakes and inland lakes as well. Chuck graduated from Michigan State University with an undergraduate degree in Marketing and joined a multibillion-dollar corporation where he held various executive positions, including as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and he was also able to complete the Harvard Graduate School of Business Program for Management Development.
Chuck’s career advancement gave him the opportunity to enjoy his love of boating throughout the United States and beyond. Chuck has piloted boats on the coastal and inland waters of Michigan, Ohio, New York, Maryland, Virginia and Florida, including the Great Lakes, the Long Island Sound, the Chesapeake Bay and southwestern Florida. Chuck has a long history of international boating as well having experience throughout the British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas and the Baja Peninsula in Mexico, and on Canadian waterways as his family owns property in northern Canada.
Chuck and his wife Roz have lived on the water in St. Petersburg, Florida for many years, where he has continued to foster his love and interest of boating in the Gulf of Mexico and exploring the waterways of southwestern and western Florida. He is a member of Isla Del Sol Yacht and Country Club in St. Petersburg where his current boat is docked. Most recently, Chuck completed the Captain certification course and proudly earned his Captain's license.
