Full Description
Overview:
Literally rigged and ready for ANYTHING! Don’t let the age fool you, this boat is dialed in and young at heart!
This Hatteras 46 Sportfisher is truly one-of-a-kind. Refit and upgraded by the current owner of 9 years, this vessel has been equipped with an incredible inventory that allows it to go anywhere, do anything.
The goal was to take a proven classic design and upgrade it with modern equipment to create the ultimate combination of long range comfortable cruising ability, matched with ultimate “fishability”.
Whether it’s a week with the family or a week with the “boys”, this boat can handle it!
Having cruised up and down the west coast, for many years, it’s time for a new adventure.
This vessel would be ideal for areas like the incredible cruising grounds or salmon fishing of the Pacific Northwest, where she is quite familiar. Or even Southern California cruising, and tuna fishing all the way down into the beautiful coastal waters of Mexico.
A MUST SEE, with some minor work on exterior cosmetics, this boat will look and run like a new vessel!
Incredible value for the quality of vessel and impressive equipment included!
Exterior Overview:
Classic sport fishing lines, with a long foredeck, sloping superstructure, enclosed fly bridge, and large fishing cockpit immediately catch your eye.
Boarding the extended swim platform, entering the transom door, you’re immediately impressed by the size of the aft cockpit. Expansive room for fishing, or enough space to setup a teak table and chairs for alfresco dining. Non-skid floors make for easy maintenance, and for a softer touch, an entire set of outdoor carpets are included.
Hidden under the cockpit floor, with a small acrylic panel to observe it, is a high-tech SeaKeeper Gyro Stabilizer. Also found in the cockpit is a wet-bar cabinet with sink, cutting board, and freezer. A Spectra Water-Maker is also housed in this cabinet.
Going up the fly bridge ladder, you enter the fully enclosed upper helm station. Great visibility, ample seating for captain and guests, this is a great place to be while underway or enjoying a sunset at anchor.
Interior Overview:
Entering through the beautiful varnished teak door, you immediately notice the 360 degree views from the large windows. Beautiful original cabinetry is well maintained, and the rare, galley up layout makes entertaining indoor or outdoor a breeze.
The most notable feature, possibly of the entire vessel, is the heavy duty acrylic floors which highlight the impeccably maintained engine room. Featured almost as a piece of art, the engines, hoses, wires, and diamond plate flooring makes quite a statement. This also makes engine checks easy and the ability to remove all four panels means service access is uncompromised. Once again, a full set of carpets are included that cover the salon floor.
The modular seating allows access to all floorboards, and though unconventional, provides a more abstract social interaction that can be moved outside when the weather is right. Each sofa also converts into a foam mattress in case you find yourself with more guests that beds!
The lower helm station is off to starboard, with great visibility in all directions. All A/V equipment is located in the salon. The galley to port is well equipped, with ample storage.
Descending the 4 steps, you enter the hallway connecting all lower areas of the vessel. To starboard is the large pantry, forward, the pilot berth, mounted above a well designed storage area which includes a variety of deep storage and beautiful wooden drawers.
To port is the entry to the master cabin with an pullman double berth, tall hanging locker and ensuite head compartment with separate stand up shower.
Continuing forward, to starboard is the guest head, and furthest forward is the twin cabin with two bunks, and ample built in storage.
All flooring was refinished and the wood work on both the floors, cabinetry and panels are in beautiful condition.
