Description
Huckins Yachts has been building yachts and boats since 1928 when they first launched in Jacksonville, FL. Over the course of time, they have produced several of boats and yachts of all sizes from smaller outboard-powered boats to large motor yachts powered by inboards, and have earned a cult following. Today, nearly a century later, Huckins still continues to add to the rich history they have always embodied. Trophy is a fine example of a beautiful Yachtfisher that was launched in 1983.
Boarding Trophy you are welcomed by a spacious cockpit with a fighting chair centerline. Forward you have a ladder to access the flybridge and two cabin interior entrances. One is up the steps to enter the pilothouse, and the other to enter the master stateroom via door starboard side. Entering the cabin through the pilothouse, to port you have a large size dinette table, access to the full beam master stateroom, the main helm station forward, and access to the step-down salon on the starboard side. Coming down to the salon, you have nice woodwork cabinetry and walls throughout with large windows for natural light to come in, seating for relaxing, and a large TV for entertainment purposes. The steps starboard, take you to the step-down galley, 3 guest staterooms and heads, and engine room access. The bow has large storage compartments, bow rail, windlass anchor, large chalk decks for a tender, and a davit. The flybridge offers a spacious area that has a full helm, and a hardtop.
Trophy has received several great upgrades over the years. Some of them to note are a full paint job, new electronics, new soft goods, and low hours on her Detroit Diesel 8V92TI engines since major overhaul, the list goes on and on. Trophy has been in Jupiter, FL for the last couple of years and has been cruising and fishing the local waters and making trips to the Bahamas. If you're in the market for a classic yacht, make sure to put Trophy on your list to see.
