Its 2 stateroom 2 head layout provides very generous accommodations for owners and guests alike. The port guest stateroom is large and has a large head and private shower rivaling that of most 50’ vessels. As a 2006 model, Lumber 1 does not have any exterior gel coat concerns nor does it require paint. The gel coat is regularly waxed and shows extremely well. Complete, no expense spared, rebuild of the twin MAN 900 Common Rail Engines performed by Middleton Marine (Authorized MAN Dealer) with only 470 hours since the rebuild, records available upon request. She holds 850 gallons, 27-knot cruise @ 63gph. This a great vessel for a buyer who is looking to get into a Viking with smooth Common Rail Performance, and ease in handling, and yet has a larger vessel feel. Highlights include Electric Teaser Reels (EPOC 9), SAT TV, Transom Livewell, and new AC compressors. A perfect model for efficient day trips with the legs and brawn for overnight trips as well. Lumber 1 will be a very pleasing vessel for its next owner, The Owner has a new boat on the way and is ready to let her go.

John's passion for boating began at a very early age. Growing up in Enterprise, AI. many family vacations and summer weekends were spent on Destin Harbor and fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. Thru the years John developed a love for being on the water, especially if it had anything to do with a boat. After graduating from Auburn University in 1989 John went to work in the forest products industry for a large corporation. In 2000, John and his brother decided to try things on their own and purchased a lumber & hardware business in the Destin area. Their timing was perfect and business continues to run strong today. John's passion, for boats, has continued to grow. He currently holds a 100 Ton Masters Captain's Rating and works as a captain on a private boat in Destin. Also, John has participated in many local cobia tournaments and the Gulf Coast Triple Crown Billfish series serving as both angler and captain. He has owned several boats, with the last being a 43' Viking. John is very familiar with what it takes to maintain boats; both mechanically and cosmetically. The decision to become a broker for Galati Yachts was a simple one after buying and selling a couple of personal boats through the family and staff at Galati. It was easy to see their integrity and eagerness to provide professional sales and service were the Galati Program's number one priorities. John believes in treating everyone with respect and fairness & letting the customer set the pace that fits them best. He is eager to get to know you and your family, so he can assist in the purchase or sale of the new or pre-owned boat of your dreams.
