Description
The Carver 42 remains popular today thanks to a roomy, well arranged floor plan and a solid ride with a cruising speed approaching 20 knots. The big 15' beam allows for bigger staterooms, huge salon, galley and bridge. This is a very comfortable two stateroom layout with additional accommodations in the dinette and the salon. "Dream On" has been lightly used here in the bay, she's clean, and has an extensive list of upgrades and improvements by the sellers including, updated interior, newer SS refrigerator, washer/dryer combo unit, automatic dishwasher and convection microwave, furniture and mattress. They have also added a Webasto Diesel Heater and ductwork, newer canvas and vinyl for all of the exterior, newer AC units for aft cabin and salon, newer, plumbing, faucets, bilge pumps and more. This Spring, she received new stainless steel shafts, cutlass bearings, packing and stuffing boxes, bottom and running gear paint, and the entire boat was detailed prior to launch on 5/22. The 375 hp CAT 3208 TA engines only have approximately 1,500 hours of run time.
