Propulsion
Her twin diesel engines, with less than 1300 hours, had complete rebuilds due to a Yanmar recall in 2002.
Starboard engine had service in 2018 with only 1029 hours.
Port engine was serviced in 2020 with 1118 hours.
All of the 1997-2002 6lp 300 and 315 hp motors were included in a Yanmar service advisory/recall sent to the original owners.
Her original owner did not take advantage of the recall so that fell on her current owner.
The problem with that motor was the valve stem seals. They wiped too much oil off the valve stems which caused the valves to stick and impact the pistons.
According to Yanmar tech bulletin MSB 02-049 July 3rd 2002, changes including new exhaust valves were made on 6LP-STE & STZE models from s/n 51640 onwards. The bulletin also shows a diagram from the Yanmar parts catalogue showing exhaust valve stem seals with different p/n as a "repair part". All 6LPA's have these parts already fitted.
Come see the receipts for the work on both engines. They are clean and like new.
Broker's Comments
She is one clean vessel.
This is not your typical boat. She looks much newer than her years and with all her upgrades that is not a surprise.
The molded fiberglass stairs to the bridge is a great improvement over a ladder. This is an easy layout to maneuver and will welcome your younger and older guests as well as pets.
She is lift kept and continuously maintained.
Receipts available to show recent upgrades and service.

Truly a boat ready for survey, sea trial and the islands.
You need to see her in person.
