Welcome aboard this sturdy and well-built traditional full keel ketch. She has those features that Hans Christian boats are known for - quality craftsmanship, abundant Teak and attention to detail.
This 43T has three staterooms, one a pullman; large spacious main salon with comfortable seating for 8, master head forward, guest cabins and head on either side aft. Galley is to port of companionway. Topside she has an aft cockpit, dodger and bimini top, traditional Teak boom gallows, bronze traveler, granny bars surround the mast, teak storage boxes on her cabin top, and wide Teak decks to allow ease of movement on deck. Full forward is her Teak bowsprit with seats and the anchoring system.
Cruising comfort is boosted by her solar panels, a watermaker, a Yamaha generator, and an iridium Go Satphone setup, even dive gear and a dive compressor!
She had all her sails replaced in 2020, hull blisters removed and gel coat below water line and replaced with 4-layers of epoxy barrier coating (no more blisters!) in 2019. Teak decks were also redone in 2019. Standing rigging was re-done in 2018 in California, before she came down to Mexico to cruise in the Sea of Cortez. She’s a Baja Ha Ha vet that is ready continue her adventures with her next owner!
