Layout
Joie De Vie features the popular layout with 4 staterooms, 4 heads (3 are ensuite). Entering from the cockpit and custom aft deck is a spacious salon with comfortable seating. Forward to Port is a dining table and breakfront. To starboard are the stairs descending to the master stateroom and access to the full beam engine room.
Moving forward is the galley to Port with a dinette to starboard. Further forward is the lower pilothouse with access to both side decks.
Descending stairs to starboard are the VIP Guest Cabin Suite, a side by side berth cabin with head opposite and forward is a cabin with over/under berths and head.
Access to the upper deck is by stairs in the pilothouse. The bridge deck area features the helm forward, a built in grill and cooking area and a comfortable cushioned area. Side decks and cockpit provide easy access for boarding and line handling.

Since arriving from Connecticut in 1969, Alan has developed a very extensive and impressive resume of involvement with the marine industry in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean. Initially, he was employed by AMIkids as an instructor and then Vice President where he managed and developed their very successful yacht donation program.
In the 1980s Alan ventured into the world of selling brokerage vessels and representing Bertram, Californian and Queenship yachts. Except for briefly representing Vicem Yachts, Alan has been with Allied Marine since 2006 in executive sales representing the Ferretti line of vessels that include Pershing, Riva, Ferretti yachts, as well as selling many brokerage yachts.
During his career, Alan has been involved with the America’s Cup, the 1976 Tall Ships Bicentennial Celebration, and raced sailboats. He has sold hundreds of large and small power and sailing vessels in addition to arranging the donation of yachts, planes, cars and other tangible property to qualified organizations. He is a longtime member of the International Yacht Brokers Association, a Certified Professional Yacht Broker, an instructor with the National Association of Underwater Instructors, and is on the Board of Trustees of Associated Marine Institutes (AMIkids).
