Accommodations
Entry onto the boat is through gates both port and starboard or by stepping directly on the aft steps. The entry to the interior is through a true sea hatch/door. This door can be closed and made water tight from either side. The high threshold insures keeping the sea outside the boat. Once inside there is an L-shaped settee to starboard with an adjustable solid surface top. Forward to port is a large refrigerator and deep freeze. Maybe the best I've had the pleasure to use. To port is the chart table with storge under the lid. Also in this cabinet is the electrical panel. Aft to port is the full functional galley. To starboard of the galley is a large wet hanging locker. Down three steps to port you enter the dedicated master. The berth is aft, the head is forward and walkthrough between has shelves outboard and a large pantry inboard. Down into the starboard hull is a full athwartship berth aft, a head with shower and the forward cabin with a large single berth. Most Manta owners use the forward berth for the "garage storage".
The interior finish is honey oak veneers with solid teak trim. Headliners are vinyl. The sole in the salon, master stateroom, VIP cabin and walkthrough areas are all high strength composite teak and holly. The remaining sole is white fiberglass. Hull walls are lined with a light colored Ozite carpet.

Hello, my name is Jerry Wheeler. I am pleased to be joining the American Yachts Sales Team. I have been a marine industry professional since 1991. During these years I have managed a full-service boat yard, owned a very successful mobile repair business, been a marine surveyor (SAMS AMS) and for the past 11 years a yacht broker. My personal boating history started at 11 years old on the Chesapeake Bay. I learned from an early age to maintain and operate a boat and how to navigate. Mostly in small cabin boats in the beginning and moved into sail in my early twenties. More recently I have enjoyed the attributes of motor yachts. We have sailed many 10’s of thousands of miles and seen many wonderful places including the Caribbean and the Great Loop. I am proud to have earned the USCGAUX Auxop pin and being a Seven Seas Cruising Association Commodore. We have lived aboard for 16 years in many different boats and locations. All those experiences combined with my love for boats and boating, and my “service is everything” and “knowledge is power” mindset I am a great asset to assist in the purchase or sale of a vessel. Accurate information, integrity and never high pressure is my mantra. I look forward to serving you.
