This love grew exponentially upon moving to New England where she was introduced to the world of sailing in Portland, ME. A year after her maiden sail, she bought her first sailboat, Persistence, a classic Sabre 28 and now sails Resilience, her Beneteau 38 out of Wickford, RI. She is also an active member of the Edgewood Yacht Club. In her off time, for the experience and the adventure, Kristin has been assisting friends move their 45′ catamaran throughout the Caribbean and is always looking for the opportunity for a sailing adventure.
