Description
The Beneteau 40.1 was designed with a clean slate to address the comings of the Beneteau 41.1. To start she has the modern twin rudder hull form that eliminates easier helm! That makes the vessel faster with less drag and easier to handle. No more struggling to head up or bear off. She also uses the new "Tulip Hull" that gives you more interior volume without additional wetted surface yet retains all of the heavy weather abilities
All lines are lead aft to ease boat handling to the large cockpit with room for all of you friends and family. Roller furling main and jib along with a code zero on a furler gives the boat plenty of power but helps with your confidence in handling the sail plan. A large custom bimini gives you protection from the elements with a cockpit table that doubles as both life raft storage and a refrigerator.
Down below we have a large and comfortable main salon with a navigation table. To stb is the over and stove and a top and side loading refrigerator. A head with a stall shower is to stb. Forward is the master sweet with an island queen bunk and a small sink. Aft are two refrigerator bunks for guests. Dockside air-conditioning thru-out.
She has been well maintained by one of the premier yacht yards on Long Island Sound and is ready to take you whatever destination you care to travel to.
