1994 Privilege 65' (19.81 m)
Basseterre
KELEA is a gorgeous 1994 Privilege 65 catamaran designed by the renowned naval architect Marc Lombard and built by Alliaura Marine in France. She was built to the very strict Bureau Veritas standards. She has always been operated and cared for by a professional captain and crew who have worked passionately for an owner who has paid careful attention to her care over the past few years. At the beginning of her life, she was very successfully operated as a crewed charter vessel in the Caribbean. In 2012, her owner pulled her from the charter fleet and she underwent an extensive refit which brought her back to "Bristol Condition". She was then operated as a private yacht until 2017 when she resumed crewed charter operation. As luck would have it, she was located in Grenada during the devastating 2017 hurricane season and has never suffered any hurricane damage. She still shows in great condition and would be ideal for global voyaging or she can continue to operate in luxury crewed charter. Since she is operating in crewed charter she must always remain in perfect working order. A yachts reputation is everything in the charter business and Kelea has earned her exceptional standing. Kelea is ideal for anyone who is looking for a superb boat to do world cruising with a large family or is exceptionally well suited as an expedition style adventure platform. Privilege Catamarans are built stout to a level of quality that cannot be matched by the large volume production builders. Examine her extensive inventory and refit history, and you will quickly see that she is at the top of the pack for any catamaran of this size under $1,000,000. Kelea is available for showings by appointment in beautiful St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands.

Andrew grew up sailing his fathers Hobie Cat and transitioned that into a long career as a USCG licensed captain in the yachting industry. Working his way up from his college years as a sailing instructor to a position as a private yacht captain aboard a Gunboat 57, he brings with him a comprehensive knowledge of catamarans and the cruising life. His career has taken him from his home waters of Cape Fear, through the waters of the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Central, South American, and the South Pacific Islands. During that time he worked as a charter yacht captain and a professional delivery skipper specializing in catamarans. Andrew has operated a wide variety of multihulls, everything from from old Lagoons to brand new Outremers and most things in between. This experience has given him an extensive first-hand knowledge of many different makes and models and a solid understanding of their various strengths and weaknesses.
He has now settled down with his family in St Augustine, Florida and seeks to share his passion for catamaran sailing and the cruising life with others. As a broker with The Multihull Company, Andrew hopes to help pair sailors of all types and skill levels with the perfect boat for their needs.
