Description
Welcome to Huntress, a Topaz 44 Sportfisherman. These hard to find boats (only 12 were made) have been described as fishing battlewagons - they are built tough to take whatever you or mother nature throws at them. Her recently rebuilt Detroit Diesel engines will power you through the water in access of 25knots. She is ready to go fishing, but she has also been outfitted with a dive elevator to help getting fully equipped swimmers on and off the boat. A diesel generator will power all onboard equipment, and a water maker can help you extend your stay offshore. Her current owner is ready to move on to another boat - so bring all offers.
Tour
Stepping aboard brings you to the huge covered cockpit. On the stern is the powered swimmer lift for hoisting divers in and out of the water. There is plenty of room for installing a fighting chair as well as plenty of holders for rods and trolling equipment. There is access to a live well and the generator under the cockpit sole.
On the starboard side of the cockpit is the ladderway to the bridge. This area gives you a complete view of everything going on around you. It has plenty of seating, and is fully contained behind isenglass.
Heading forward on the outside from the cockpit brings you to the spacious foredeck. The powerful windlass can handle the properly sized anchor with ease. You also have plenty of chain and rode for anchoring in deep water. Three storage boxes allow for plenty of equipment forward.
Heading inside from the cockpit brings you to the main cabin. This spacious area spans the width of the vessel and brings in plenty of light. Forward and to port is the galley area. Access to the immense engine room is located via a hatchway centerline.
Continuing forward and down three steps you will come to the main living area. To starboard is the head with an electric head and separate shower. To port is a guest/crew cabin with two bunks.
Forward is the huge v-berth area with an island queen centerline berth and plenty of storage.
Huntress is the boat for you to ply the seas looking for fish to catch or places to dive. She has the range and the power to handle any seas. Contact us today.
