Description
The spacious cockpit fitted with large fish lockers, and many seating options again blur the lines between a dedicated fishing boat and an express cruiser for your family. The accommodations below are quite spacious for this style of boat, offering full headroom, generous enclosed head compartment, small galley area, and sleeping for up to 5-6 if required.
This is a very late model of this proven design, and represents an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a versatile, outboard proven boat that can take you anywhere on our coast. The twin 250hp Yamaha outboards provide quiet smooth and efficient running, easy cruising at 30mph with top speeds closer to 45mph. This combined with the decent fuel capacity provides an excellent range when exploring our coast.
Current located on our Sales Dock in Sidney, BC. for easy showings. Priced to sell.

Notes from the Power Boat Guide
A popular boat for many years, the Wellcraft 290 Coastal is a versatile offshore express whose wide 10'5" beam allows for a large cockpit and very spacious cabin accommodations. Dualpurpose boats like this have long been popular with active families who like to mix fishing with entertaining and cruising.
Built on a solid fiberglass hull, the wide-open interior of the 290 Coastal sleeps six and features a convertible dinette/V-berth forward, full-service galley with microwave to port, roomy head/shower compartment, and a mid-cabin lounge that converts into a double berth. (The V-berth backrests swing up to form two pilot berths.) In the cockpit, a standup 42-gallon livewell is aft of the helm seat and a pair of insulated fish boxes are located just forward of the transom.
Additional features include a fiberglass hardtop with rod holders, transom door, folding transom seat, bait prep center with sink, fresh and raw water washdowns, cockpit bolsters, trim tabs, dive ladder, cockpit rod storage, molded bow pulpit, and a walk thru windshield.
Twin 250hp outboards cruise the 290 Coastal in the high 20s and reach a top speed of 35+ knots.
