Jon Hopkins grew up fishing and boating in the Florida panhandle and graduated from FSU with a BS degree. Jon has worked as a full-time captain of traveling sportfishing boats since 1998. After extensive fishing and traveling in 14 countries including, living in Costa Rica for eight years, he now enjoys living and working in Orange Beach. Jon still works full-time as a sportfishing captain and has been brokering yachts for the past six years. He has used his work experience to help guide his clients in their efforts to find a boat that best suits their needs and wants. Having managed several custom boat builds and refit projects, he is very well versed in Custom Sportfishing boats, as well as all the production brands. Jon has captained Viking Yachts, Hatteras Yachts, and several custom-built yachts as well.
