Accommodations & Layout
The Monk 36 has the traditional two-stateroom setup bow & stern with the main salon and galley up above the engine room. She has dual side doors to enter the salon, and access to the large flybridge from the aft deck.
The forward stateroom features two berths with storage drawers and cabinets below, a hanging locker, and two opening portlights. There is an opening hatch overhead, ensuite head with sink, electric freshwater flush toilet, and a wet deck shower. Chain locker is accessed in front of the berth.
The salon features a lower helm to starboard with opening door just to the aft. Galley wraps around behind the starboard entry door and across the aft portion of the salon. There is a double stainless steel sink, updated faucet, propane stove and oven, microwave, and a Norcold refrigerator. Opposite to port you will find the L-shaped settee with a large dining table, and a door just aft to the port side deck.
Stepping down into the aft stateroom, you are met with a comfortable walk-around island queen berth, make-up vanity with light, storage both port and starboard, opening windows, and an opening hatch overhead. There is also an ensuite head with separate shower with opening port light, vanity, and Vacuflush head.
