MANUFACTURER PROVIDED DESCRIPTION
The Albin 30 Family Cruiser is designed to satisfy the diverse demands of today's boating family. Albin pioneered the After Cabin concept in the sixties and seventies with the famous Swedish built Albin 25. Later in the eighties we built a 27' after cabin model. The 30 aft cabin offers roomy sleeping accommodations for 5 in separate quarters as well as improved performance. The forward cabin area has an enclosed marine head/ shower compartment, a convertible dinette (to a 6'6" x 5' queen berth) and a galley area with stove, refrigerator, microwave and sink. Aft of the galley is a 6' 3" x 3' 3" berth. Eight opening portholes and overhead hatch provide excellent ventilation to this area. There is a large storage well in the center of the cockpit. The well has a macerator and can be raised hydraulically if access is necessary. The aft cabin offers privacy for children or adults. It has 2 single berths which convert into a 7' 11" x 5' queen. The hull is designed with the North Sea in mind. The skeg keel protects the propeller and adds to the stability. The bow flair keeps the decks dryer. It comes standard with a bow thruster for easy dock side maneuvering. The Family cruiser can be ordered with a wheelhouse or as a convertible.

Carolyn grew up living aboard her family’s 47’ GulfStar Sailmaster, cruising up and down the East Coast and through the Bahamas for nearly twenty years. Shew crewed on various boats, detailed boats, and worked at a prominent marina in St. Augustine, FL, while working her way through college. She worked her way up to management at the marina and was a loyal employee for over 15 years. Talking to the boaters of all types as they transited the ICW and stopped at the marina, was one of the highlights of her job, but they got to take off and head to places more tropical while she was stuck in St. Augustine.
Carolyn is a fine arts graduate from Flagler College, an artist, yogi, and an avid surfer and guitar player. She travels the world to various surfing destinations whenever she can and enjoys traveling solo.
After the marina, Carolyn worked for a local recruiting firm and then Solar Stik as an administrative assistant. She has also taught yoga at various venues around St. Augustine. She brings her organizational and logistical skills with her to Sunshine Cruising Yachts, and is very excited to be working on the water again. She lives with her husband and two boys as well as various animals (mainly cats and guinea pigs) in St. Augustine.
Be careful! Her enthusiasm is contagious!
, `testimonial` ="Carolyn is the boat broker to work with!
My wife and I used her to sell our 38ft sailboat and she was awesome to work with. We had the boat in Georgia while we lived in Idaho and she was located in Florida and she went out of her way to help when things needed to get done on the boat.
I would recommend her to absolutely anyone that is looking to sell or buy a boat. An absolute pleasure to work with "- Josh
