Manufacturer Provided Description
The NC 895 Sport has redefined what a 29 footer can offer. She features a fully enclosed cabin and an innovative layout that combines the design features for security, ergonomics and true comfort aboard. The NC 895 Sport is truly an all-weather craft equally suited for the cool weather of the Pacific Northwest as it is for the steamy weather of Florida.
The NC Sport is built for outside living at its best. With this in mind the 895 Sport offers a spacious convertible cockpit complete with an U-shaped aft folding bench seats and table that allows you to tailor your day underway. The aft benches fold up, maximizing the space for stowing of tubes and coolers. Engines can also be fully tilted up out of the water, while still using the aft cockpit space. When it’s time to store the paddle boards and kayaks, throw them up on the secured stand up paddle board rack.
The deck layout feature a “no-step” side deck running along the starboard side connecting the aft cockpit to a spacious forward cockpit making it simple and easy when moving fore and aft between the two areas. When tied up, there is safe side gate access door for on and off boarding. Transitioning stern to bow, the NC 895 Sport features an L-shaped salon that converts into a full sunpad with easy access to the anchor locker.
The entire interior has been reimagined on the NC 895 Sport! The salon has a large opening sunroof allowing for lots of natural light or opt-in for a soft roof for a true open-air adventure. To port you have a forward galley with sink and gas stove next to the reversible copilot seat. The facing table seating in the salon can be converted into an additional berth for overnights on the water. To starboard you have a 17 Gal fridge and storage space under the pilot seat. The helm station has a large side door for quick access to the cleats while tying up. Down below, the NC 895 Sport has two enclosed double cabins and a separate shower and head compartment.
Vessel Walkthrough
Boarding the cockpit reveals a spacious and versatile area with fold down seating. The aft seat console slides aft when the engines are down to provide more room, and can be slid back forward when the engines are raised. There is a live well, mount for a table (included), rod holders and a bilge/generator access hatch. An overhead sunshade covers this space. Fresh and raw water wash down bibs are provided.
Moving into the main cabin through a sliding door, the space is flooded with natural light and ventilation. Windows are curtained. The convertible settee is to port, and the backrest of the forward bench reverses to allow forward facing seating. To starboard is the well equipped helm with a comfortable seat with flip up bolster and sliding door for easy access to the side deck. Galley stove and sink are forward to port. Stepping down into the cabin, a convertible v-berth with table (included) and filler provide sleeping accommodations forward, while a surprisingly roomy mid-berth is down and aft on the port side. The head is to starboard. Back outside, the starboard side deck provides access to the forward seating area, also equipped with overhead sunshade.

Broker's Comments
The listing broker sold this boat to her current owners last year, but a change in plans make her available for sale. She is turn key and ready to go. I think Jeanneau did a nice job with this little cruiser. Some mfr's try to cram too many bells and whistles in their compact offerings which lead to super confined spaces that don't leave enough room to change your mind much less your clothes. This boat does a nice job of balancing interior and exterior spaces with plenty of room to move about. Storage compartments are tucked into the boat throughout. A truly versatile vessel and highly recommended.

Matt Howard has been an avid boater since his dad first put him behind the wheel of the family’s classic Chris Craft runabout when he was four years of age. Throughout his lifelong love affair with boating, he has owned, operated, and maintained a broad range of boats both power and sail, and running the gamut from Hobie Cats to cabin cruisers to offshore high speed performance powerboats.
After graduating from the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in Civil Engineering, Matt began his career as an active duty U.S. Marine Corps helicopter pilot; a career that took him around the country and around the globe. During his many tours of duty, including a stint flying the President as a Marine One pilot, Matt owned and operated a variety of boats in lakes, rivers, and the coastal waters of Hawaii, San Diego, CA, and Norfolk, VA. Before leaving active duty, he enrolled with the Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology’s Yacht Design course, a rigorous program designed to give students the ability to design, from the ground up, sail and power boats up to 100 feet in length. Matt is also a USCG licensed Captain (50 ton Master).
Since leaving active duty, he has worked as an aviation consultant in the Washington, D.C. area, and while continuing his Westlawn curriculum, Matt has been using his infectious passion for boating and his comprehensive knowledge of boat design, construction, and operating characteristics to help friends and colleagues find the right boat to suit their lifestyle. His enthusiasm and innate talent for doing so led him to the next step – becoming a yacht broker.
Twenty years as a U.S, Marine officer and a lifetime of boating have given Matt the absolute integrity, skills, loyalty, knowledge, and heartfelt passion required of a professional yacht broker. Let Matt help you determine your needs, find the right boat for your lifestyle, and guide you through the process.
