Description
The Challenger 38 designed by John G. Alden the hull molded by Halmatic and completed in Denmark. This blue water yacht is a masthead yawl designed that stands out for its heavy construction, steady handling capabilities and excellent righting capabilities. Spring Tides is well suited for long journeys and beyond. She underwent a complete restoration in 2003 that included superstructure-cabin / cockpit along with the rigging and fuel tanks replaced. The masts are aluminum the booms are spruce, a mechanical system with a hand crank operates to drop or lift the centerboard mounted in the keel. The boat is being stored for the winter with Safe Harbors Bruce and Johnsons Marina call John Uljens @ Brewer Yacht Sales for an appointment to view Spring Tides.
