Description
Designed by Chris Cochrane, this boat began its early days in the New Zealand fleet, first with the designer and then its second owner out of Auckland. Continuously improved over the years, the vessel underwent a major rebuild and redesign in 2014. After careful consideration of available boats worldwide, "DRAGON" was selected, purchased, and transported to the Pacific Northwest in 2018. The vessel now resides in Sidney, BC.
"DRAGON" has participated in numerous Northwest sailing events, with achievements ranging from line honors to multiple wins, all while demonstrating impressive speed under sail. Recent highlights include setting a Swiftsure multihull record and completing the R2AK twice as a top performer.
The current ownership has maintained this boat to a high level, resulting it in being in excellent condition. It boasts a substantial sail inventory and has been continually optimized for peak performance. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a fast, proven, race-winning multihull that is already in the Pacific Northwest and ready to sail. Simply put, if you’re looking to invest your time, effort, skill, and resources into high-speed sailing, this vessel will reward you with exceptional results.
