Description
The Frers-designed Hallberg-Rassy 42F was built during 1991-2001, totaling 181 hulls. The 42F is one of HR’s most popular and comfortable cruising yachts for which distance is no object. Designed for a yachtsman not interested in the latest regatta trends but in a proper yacht with more respectable speed. Germán Frers combined the best of two different worlds, the irreplaceable feeling of fine craftsmanship and the secure feeling of a heavier displacement boat with excellent sea-going qualities.
“MAKARA” is hull #126 of the 42F series and has been lovingly stewarded by her second owners. Her original owners carefully selected the layout and options list with long-distance cruising in mind. The result is the ultimate setup for a true blue water cruising yacht, rigged to go anywhere for extended periods in great comfort.
Please see other details below for full specifications. MAKARA is a rare offering and is now on the hard for the winter season. Contact the listing broker for more information and to schedule a showing.
