Description
Ever dream of waking up and enjoying a hot cup of coffee from the cockpit of your new boat with the best waterfront views each morning? Or experiencing all the comradery and joys the boating community has to offer?
Loa, a Beneteau 461 is fast under sail and a very spacious vessel for cruising, be it weekends aboard, or longer term passages to the Bahamas or the Keys, she is a good choice for anyone looking to experience the joys of a boating lifestyle. She has had only two caring owners and already strategically located in Oriental North Carolina with wonderful access to some of the best regional cruising grounds on the east coast, One can acquire her now, keep her in the sailing capital of NC with all the support and services, an owner needs, very desirable coastal towns or remote anchorages to visit for a real feeling of getting away and awaking to the peace of natural beauty all around. When time and life allows, strike off on a longer-term adventure to destinations north or south of your choosing. Your vessel awaits......
Owners comments from many wonderful hours and days aboard:
"My favorite feature is the large salon and the galley being tucked away and out of traffic areas. The galley has plenty of storage and space for food prep and cooking. The interior is quite spacious and one never feels confined on inclement weather days, She is a very comfortable vessel for live aboard or for destination trips. She's an easy boat to sail for the newer sailors and can handle the winds and challenges for the more experienced mariner. The scoop transom makes it so easy to get in and out of the dinghy or back up on the boat from swimming. When you tie up with aft facing the dock, she is very easy to debark or carry provisions onto the boat."

Thirty-six years of business experience taught that, above all, listening to client's needs is paramount. Selling or buying, what are your goals related to boating? Dave’s listening! Dave built his first boat as a teenager. After engineering school, he put in hundreds of hours sailing his Hobie Cat 16 on the Chesapeake Bay and off the North Carolina beaches & sounds. He learned to sail larger boats in his 20’s on the Chesapeake chartering with friends, then the Caribbean, the Med, racing on the Great Lakes & Delaware Rivers, while studying and drinking in all things nautical. Dave has owned both power and sail and has maintained, upgraded and sailed a blue water cruiser for years. He’s a USCG Captain candidate, and currently living on the water in North Carolina, when not aboard. Put Dave’s knowledge & passion to work for you!
