Walk Through
"Jillian Clair", a Mariner Orient 34 is a classic trawler with two very private cabins each with an Ensuite Head, a spacious Saloon/Nav Station/Galley and a large flybridge. She's a perfect vessel for the bay and near and intercoastal cruising.
Beginning at the bow is the large Vee Berth with an Ensuite Head to port and a large hanging locker across on starboard. The spacious Head features a commode, sink with pull-out shower/faucet, a large teak mirror and medicine cabinet. Opening port and hatch with screens provide great ventilation.
The Electric Panel is on starboard just inside the forward cabin. There is a storage cabinet under.
Next aft is the Pilot House/Saloon/Galley with a sliding Entry Door and the Helm on starboard. The Windshield's center section opens for the best ventilation. A convertible berth/table on starboard comfortably sleeps 2 and seats 4. Large sliding windows on each side allow more light and ventilation. The Galley is on port and features a Princess propane 3-burner stove/oven, a deep sink and an under the counter refrigerator Plenty of built in storage provides a place for everything. Two fixed Ports at the aft end provide still more light.
The Generator is accessed under the Helm/Galley Sole and the Cummins Diesel under the Saloon/Dining area providing easy maintenance access.
Aft and 3 Steps down from the Saloon is the Aft Cabin with it's Ensuite Head and twin single berths. At the stern of the cabin is the Companionway to the Aft Deck providing both an escape and fantastic ventilation.

I have been lucky to be near the water all my life. As a kid, I fished and waterskied on Rehoboth Bay, and as a teenager I learned to sail a Sunfish on the Chesapeake off Howell Point. I became a Sea Explorer and was introduced to both sailboat racing and cruising. I later joined the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary teaching sailing in Wilmington and Newark, Delaware. I have raced and cruised and made yacht deliveries up and down the East Coast. My time on the water has always been very important to me.
After college, a stint in the Air Force, a period of public service, bicycle racing and ownership of the Admore Bike Shop, I joined the marine industry in 1988. Initially, I sold Hunters, Catalinas, and Morgans before moving with my wife, Janet, in 1994 to Rock Hall, Maryland, to join Gratitude Yachting Center and then, in 2013, S&J Yachts. I have been selling yachts for a quarter of a century. With these 25 years of experience, I can help you make the very best yacht selection – matching your plans and dreams to your new sail or power yacht.
