Description
ALTHEA was built by Flye Point Marine in Brooklin Maine in 1988. In 1994, Duffy & Duffy and Flye Point Marine merged to become Atlantic Boat Company, a full-service boatyard known for their excellent service, quality craftmanship, and carrying on the tradition of high-quality Downeast boatbuilding.
This BHM 28’ is the perfect example of well-loved Downeast flybridge pocket cruiser. ALTHEA is powered by an ’88 VOLVO TAMD-41A engine with 2,240 hours. She has a full suite of 2020 SIMRAD electronics including a AIS, chartplotter/fish finder/depthsounder, radar, GPS and VHF. The open flybridge has custom canvas walls, a helm station and helm chair, a bench seat, and a 360° view. The Main Cabin has a helm station, custom helm chair, bench seats port (berth) and starboard, plenty of natural light, perfect for leisurely cruising. The spacious cockpit and has 4 Lee Rod Holders, and a custom raw water tank, perfect for the fishing enthusiast, two deck chairs and a table, and a custom swim platform that makes that dip in the water on a hot day, just what the Dr. ordered.

I'm Brandon Crigger a CPYB Yacht Broker specializing in the sale of pre-owned boats.
Brandon's deep connection with water is rooted in his beginnings, growing up in Michigan's Great Lakes Region, developing a passion for fishing and water sports at an early age. His career started in construction with a degree in Construction Management in Michigan, but his love for the ocean led him to Ft. Lauderdale in 2006, where he launched his career in the maritime industry. He earned his Master Scuba Diver status and a 100-ton USCG License, in Ft. Lauderdale, then set off on an 8-year global adventure aboard private Motor Yachts, clocking 150,000+ nautical miles, traversing Italy, Greece, Turkey, and the Bahamas and Caribbean.
He then headed to New England, where he met his wife Nicole and her dog Hani, and here he stayed! Before joining Merri-Mar, he spent 3 years as captain & crew with Coastal Discoveries in Newburyport. Brandon has been an integral member of the MMYB Team since 2016. His diverse and global maritime experience, combined with integrity and a genuine affinity for all things maritime, offers clients a deep understanding of what it takes to match their wish list with their dream boat.
