The Powerboat guide says..........
The Albin 28 TE is one of the most popular 28' cruisers ever built. The Albin 28 TE combines classic Downeast styling with a spacious cockpit and comfortable cabin accommodations. The 28 is heavily built on a modified V-hull with a wide beam, hard aft chines and a prop-protecting skeg. A cushioned engine box behind the helm seats dominates the cockpit while providing a wonderful place to sit or lounge.
Below deck, the surprisingly roomy interior of the 28TE has the comforts of a larger boat with a full-service galley, complete with Refrigerator, Stove and Microwave oven. An enclosed head with stand-up shower is located on the stbd side of the cabin and a Quarter berth is located on the port side, aft of the galley.
A convertible, U-shaped dinette is located forward, and easily converts into a roomy 2-person sleeper. Excellent headroom and volume is enhanced by overhead lighting, and overhead deck hatch, and (6) operable port-lights, offering natural lighting and ventilation. An optional Reverse Cycle Heat/Air Conditioning makes for comfortable weekend stays.
Additional features include a moulded in Bow Pulpit and anchor windlass, Wide side decks with ample handrails, full height bow rail, Trim Tabs, fresh and raw water washdowns, transom livewell, Transom fishbox and a Bow Thruster.
