Description
Monsoon is a 1978 large ocean-going cruising ketch that was professionally designed and built and is well equipped for the most demanding of open ocean voyages and has made three Pacific Ocean crossings.
She carries all furling sails, a 185 horsepower marine diesel engine and twin diesel generators. Monsoon has a pleasant and comfortable interior and plenty of seating in both sun and in shade.
The vessel combines the graceful lines of a modern "Philip Rhodes-style" motor sailer with the rugged and sure proven seaworthiness of the most able offshore cruiser. She is a roomy, seaworthy and sea kindly vessel, designed and equipped for living aboard and extensive cruising in comfort and safety.
Space and headroom are essential on a live aboard yacht. Apart from the 5 cabins (3 double + 2 twin), there are 3 separate living areas (aft deck seating - pilothouse - salon) which can provide lots of space, perfect for a live-aboard situation and those with a bigger group or family. All cabins, companionways, salon galley and pilothouse have a headroom of 6'and 6". She is a big boat, yet she sails like a 50 footer, the sails are not enormous and the furlers are easy to operate.

I left England in 2003 for a sailing adventure to explore the Caribbean and live the sailing dream. After being aboard our catamaran for almost three years we settled in Grenada where we ran a successful tour and charter company prior to focusing on yacht brokerage.
My previous sales experience coupled with a solid engineering background and the familiaraity of having lived the sailing life gives me a good understanding of how to assist people to help make the buying or selling experience a good one.
It's important to choose the right company when buying or selling your boat and we have a good reputation for great service and satisfied customers. Please call Howard if you would like to discuss the advantages of buying or selling your boat in Grenada.
