Description
Step aboard this 1998 Sea Ray 480 Sedan Bridge, where luxury meets versatility. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3196TA 660hp diesel engines, this vessel has only 832 original fresh water hours, showcasing its moderate usage and highlighting the performance of the larger equipped factory power option Sea Ray had available at the time. The spacious interior features a well-appointed galley, inviting salon, and comfortable staterooms, making it ideal for both entertaining guests and relaxing getaways. The expansive flybridge offers commanding views and ample seating, perfect for enjoying sunny days on the water. Additional features include a large cockpit, full navigation electronics suite, and abundant storage throughout. This Sea Ray is not just a boat; it’s a lifestyle waiting to be embraced.
POWERBOAT GUIDE DESCRIPTION: Sea Ray got it right with the 480 Sedan Bridge, one of the best- looking sedan cruisers of her era. Built on a fully cored hull with prop pockets to reduce the shaft angles, the 480 boasts a surprisingly large interior for a boat this size. Step through the sliding glass doors to a spacious salon with its electrically convertible sofa, dinette, and built-in entertainment center. Opposite, the large galley is designed with an island-style breakfast bar and under-counter refrigeration. There are three staterooms on the lower level including a full-size berth in the portside stateroom, twin bunks (and a washer/dryer combo) in the starboard stateroom, and a spacious master stateroom forward with an entertainment center. On deck, molded cockpit steps lead up to the bridge where wraparound lounge seating is located forward of an extremely well designed helm console. Additional features include high-gloss interior joinery, an extended swim platform, transom storage, wide side decks, and a fiberglass hardtop. Standard 535hp 6V-92 diesels cruise the 480 Sedan Bridge in the low 20s (27–28 knots top), and optional 660hp Cats cruise in the high 20s and top out at over 30 knots.
BROKER NOTES: Current owners of 14 years. Lifetime Great Lakes boat with only 832 original mechanical hours. Has always been stored indoors for the winters in a heated facility. Founder Tom Dunigan's journey into the business started at a young age. He grew up on the water spending his summers at The Detroit Yacht Club and winters in Southwest Florida developing a strong passion for boating immediately. His teenage years were spent working at Hossack Marine Sales on Lake St. Clair and honed his skills through years of hands-on experience. In the spring of 2019, the boating community suffered the tragic loss of Scott Hossack, founder of Hossack Marine Sales who mentored Tom in the business. The impact Scott had on Tom inspired him to start the Dunigan Marine Group. The company started as a one-man operation specializing in brokerage services and the acclaimed Vessel Education Training. Today, Dunigan Marine has now grown to a multi personnel sales team serving all bodies of water in South East Michigan and their customers boating needs.
