To Wally boating is not a necessity, it's a true passion! One that allows for quality time together with family and friends. Being a family man of four children and a recent grandfather, he understands the great benefits of family time together and the wonderful memories that boating can create.
Wally and Tom George have known each other since they were 18 years of age and spent many of their younger years as close friends and colleagues working in the banking and mortgage industry in the Tampa Bay area. After 20 years in the banking world Wally was ready for a change, and Tom George convinced him to join him at Gulfwind Marine (now known as Marinemax) in yacht sales in 1997.
Fast forward to 2009 when the Tom George Yacht Group was formed, Tom convinced Wally to work at his then fledgling firm as one of the original yacht brokers. Today Wally is one of the senior brokers and cruising trip leader, passing his passion to others and helping his clients achieve their boating dreams!
Wally has extensively traveled up and down the coasts of Florida, where he's lead many outings with clients and fellow boaters to places such as the Florida Keys, Bahamas, Caribbean, South Seas Resort, Longboat Key, St. Petersburg, and many other.
When Wally isn't boating, he enjoys golf, riding my motorcycle, cooking, and family gatherings.
He truly enjoys his career as it gives him great fulfillment to introduce people to the world of boating by using his experience and knowledge to find the right yacht, educate clients on the ins and outs of yachting, and when the time comes, sell their current yacht quickly and for top market value.
