AIRWAVES is one of seven 68 Hatteras cockpit motor yachts whose owners have continually maintained her in an exceptional condition with many upgrades over the years. The vessel has extensively cruised the East Coast and is now in Jacksonville, Florida. The hull is solid fiberglass with a wide beam and deep keel. She features a four stateroom layout each with it’s own head, the galley is on the main deck, a large master stateroom, separate engine rooms and a large spacious salon and dining area. The large flybridge has generous cushioned seating. Her cockpit allows for easy boarding of the vessel, has aft engine controls and custom ladder to flybridge boat deck. She was reportedly painted in 2012 and was hauled in October, 2024 for a complete bottom job and new cutlass bearings. Main engines have 3700 hours since engine blocks were replaced.

Accommodations
The large salon features an L-shaped sofa aft to port, a built in bar area forward to starboard with icemaker and VIZIO 40” flat screen TV above. Dining area is opposite to port. Forward is the galley area with Amtico flooring that extends to the wheelhouse, recent appliances with dinette table to starboard. Further forward is the pilothouse with a bench helm seat, wing doors and a ladder to the flybridge.
Descending from the pilothouse are the living quarters. Below the cabin sole prior to entering the staterooms is a very unique double size hinged access to the genset room. The bow stateroom has upper and lower bunk berths to starboard with ensuite head and stall shower opposite. Aft to port is the second stateroom with crossover berths and a head with handheld shower. Further aft and down a few steps is the third stateroom to port with twin berths. Opposite to port is a head with stall shower.
Moving aft between the twin engine rooms is the very spacious main stateroom, the size which you don’t normally find on a 68 foot vessel. A large king-size berth centerline aft with a unique dressing area forward to port and ensuite head with tub and shower to starboard.
Up from the pilothouse is the very spacious U-shaped seating, bar area to port and helm forward. On the aft end of the hardtop is a davit for lifting a dingy.

He has sold hundreds of large and small power and sailing vessels in addition to arranging the donation of yachts, planes, cars and other tangible property to qualified organizations. He is a longtime member of the International Yacht Brokers Association, a Certified Professional Yacht Broker, an instructor with the National Association of Underwater Instructors, and is on the Board of Trustees of Associated Marine Institutes (AMIkids).
