Description
The Mainship 34 Pilot is an enlarged version of the hugely popular
Mainship 30 Pilot, a stylish Downeast cruiser introduced by
Mainship in 1998. Where the 30 is essentially a dayboat, the larger
interior of the 34 provides the volume required for extended cruising.
Well-appointed accommodations consist a roomy main salon with galley
and convertible dinette, enclosed head with shower, and a single stateroom
forward with a privacy door. A TV is mounted on the forward bulkhead in the saloon.
The cockpit configuration consists of forward facing bench seats at helm and companion seat to port
Behind the bench seats are lounge style seats that have extended leg room that is found by removing the forward
seat cushion - see photos. A large centerline hatch in the cockpit provides access to the engine.
Additional features include a standard bow thruster, transom walkthrough door, and wide side decks.
The 34 rides on a semi-displacement hull with moderate beam and a long, prop-protecting
keel. A single 330hp Cummings Diesel will cruise the 34 Pilot at 15 knots. and reach a top speedof approx 20 knots.
