Vessel Walkthrough and Details
This is a custom-built sailboat, based on the Wings 33 design, built in Saint Petersburg, FL by the Fiberglass Fabrica company in 1982. The current owners have enjoyed sailing her all over the FL waterways, including across Lake Okeechobee. With the cat ketch rig, she has 2 masts that air drafts only 46’ so can go under most fixed bridges along the ICW and with a water draft of only 4’, she is also island cruising friendly. The main and mizen sails are just about the same size and very easy to sail. The interior is typical 80’s style small cruising sailboat simple yet has several really comfortable features such as: solid folding doors that close off the V-Berth to create an actual separate cabin from the salon for when guests may be aboard. There are two very large comfortable settees on either side of the salon so two people can be very comfortable during rest/down time, one even folds out to a double berth. The two over settee bunks fold down to be comfortable back rests for each of the settees. The size of the wet head is actually quite large for this size vessel. The Universal motor, although it did not come with an hour meter, seems to have been very well maintained throughout its life and runs like a champ! Comes with a newer 9’ dinghy that has a quick little silent electric motor! Overall the boat does need a bit more cosmetic TLC and even though she has a few little bumps and bruises, this will make a great, affordable cruising vessel for her new owners.
